Fandoghi Pistachio is the most widely traded Iranian pistachio in global wholesale markets. It is small, round, and naturally consistent, with a high count per kilogram that makes it the most cost-efficient pistachio for industrial food applications.

Known in international trade as Jumbo, Kalleh Ghouchi Pistachio is one of Iran’s largest pistachio varieties. Its plump, round kernel and bold flavour make it a strong seller in premium retail, gourmet food service, and gifting markets where visual impact matters as much as taste.
Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio is one of the most recognised Iranian export varieties in the world market. Its elongated shape, bright white shell, and high natural open-shell rate give it strong visual appeal, while its aromatic flavour and vibrant green kernel make it a preferred ingredient for confectionery, baklava, dessert decoration, and premium snack lines.
Akbari Pistachio is Iran’s longest pistachio variety and consistently commands the highest price point in the market.

Buying wholesale pistachios involves learning a specific vocabulary. Here is what the key terms mean, so you can place an order with confidence.
Variety refers to the botanical cultivar: Fandoghi, Ahmad Aghaei, Kalleh Ghouchi, or Akbari. Each has distinct physical characteristics and suits different applications. This is the first decision you make.
Sizes refers to the number of nuts per ounce. A size of 18/20 means between 18 and 20 nuts per ounce — a large nut. A size of 32/34 means a smaller nut with a higher count. Smaller caliber numbers always mean larger nuts. For premium retail, buyers typically request 18/20 or 20/22. For industrial and blending applications, 28/30 or 30/32 is common.
Shell-opening type applies to in-shell orders. Natural open means the shell split open on its own during ripening, which is the highest quality indicator and most desirable for retail presentation. Mechanical open means the shell was opened during processing, which gives a more uniform appearance suited to commercial use.
Processing form describes how the pistachio is prepared: in-shell (whole nut in shell), kernel (shell removed), roasted, roasted and salted, blanched (skin removed from kernel), or slivered.
Our minimum order quantity is 10 metric tons per shipment. Orders can be placed for a single variety or as a combined order across multiple varieties, subject to current stock availability and season.
